Another oar stuck in, I have been flamed in the past for using descriptors. When I read "state of the world" my first thought is selfishness, hostility, and aggression toward fellow humans. Any racial insinuation comes pretty far down the list in my mind, though remember in the current climate you're gonna get reported for a hate crime for making eye contact with the wrong person even if you are both white males.
