Get a UK bank account? Could always do a Monzo prepaid one which doesn't have any charges when you're using it abroad and you could get in a day or two
https://monzo.com/Having thought ^ through it might not help at all, because you might face the same problem getting the money into your Monzo account.

why is my track bike creaking? Is it my bb? It only happens at low speeds and when I'm putting pressure on the pedals. Pretty sure it happens at the same point of the stroke so I don't think it's the chain (but I have put on a new recently which I haven't lubed yet, and I don't think it has a stiff link).
I've only installed the bb recently, it's a 7710 bb and cranks.

It could be
bb
Crank bolts
Pedals
Chainring bolts
Saddle
Seat post clamp
Saddle clamp
Headset
Stem
Wheels not fastened correctly
Frame crackedOr practically any other component on your bike

I bought a second hand set of Zipp Vuka TT extensions and it's missing one armrest bolt.
Does anyone know the length and size so I can buy a similar one? It's a standard flathead bolt but I'd rather get another Torx head one to make it easier.
Thanks!

One like these, which helpfully doesn't state the size (though it seems the length is 20mm):

Can you wait till this evening so I can measure for you?
-
• #84243
Or could you instead measure the clamp and get a size that will engage all the threads?

- Chain too long?
- Rear derailleur cage spring slack/worn?
- Chain too long?

Can't help on the size, but was happy with this shop when I got replacements for some stripped limit screws.
Worst case, buy some M4 and M5 bolts and put the ones that aren't right into the parts bin. You'll only waste a quid

It's more about knowing whether it's M4 or M5, other something else, because I'm out at the moment and hoping to pick something up on the way home before the LVCC 10 tonight.

@Constable_Savage thanks for the answer - its a brand new rear mech too. chain is same as previous size, same size cassette too.... weird!
-
• #84248
In that case are you sure it's jumping at the back and not the crank? It sounds like everything else is in order.
-
• #84249
craporama that could be it, the inner chainring could be too worn for the new chain....
will investigate .......... @Constable_Savage i salute you ;) -

I'll try and pick up a handful from somewhere on the way home so my armrest doesn't slip tonight.
Best method to send money (around £3000) to UK from Canada?
Banks and paypal seem horrendously expensive and xe.com is not the deal it once was.
I could potentially carry it with me come August as I'm travelling there then, but wouldn't want to carry the cash.
No, I don't have a UK bank account and it's for my sister, who doesn't have a Canadian bank account.
