It's like a mid point between Roubaix (or CruX) and Sequoia. Not as racy as the first two, and not as sluggish or adventurous as Sequoia. If I had to choose a perfect gravel/fun/light bikepacking/allroad bike, Diverge would seem like a perfect option.

There are very thin lines between Roubaix > Diverge > Sequoia > AWOL .. clearly they have a market thanks to Prolly/Nohlin.

Roubaix a race bike, Diverge a gravel bike that accept bigger tyres, sequoia an all round light touring bike and AWOL a full on tourer.

Simple.
