  • You can get great results with rattlecans, but you need to put in a good half a day of work and be pretty meticulous. Powdercoat is tough and cheap

  • Proper surface prep is key, as is laying multiple, very thin coats and allowing adequate drying time in between to avoid runs and ensure a smooth finish. The spray gun adapter for rattlecans is a godsend. Use lots of clear coat. Read as much about it as possible basically, and make sure your spray booth is set up well
