I've just posted this same link in the Road Racing thread, but I have my doubts whether anyone ever looks at that thread so, because I think this is important, I'm posting it here as well. It may be that this subject should have its own thread, but I'll leave that for others to decide.
There is a move to change the BC constitution in a way which would reduce (perhaps to zero) the power of the membership and hand everything to the directors. BC already has an elitist tendency and this will almost certainly make matters worse.
Anyway, I'd like you to read Keith Bingham's article and make up your own minds.
I shall be at a meeting this Wednesday where there will be discussion of this matter - if you have any thoughts arising from Keith's article, I would be very pleased to hear them and I will try to pass them on.
