I think it does, but the seat stay mounted brake caliper might make it a bit of a faf getting the mudguards mounted. You could always go for p-clips?
You can either bend the mudguard stays or use a longer bolt and space them out (chromoplastics now come with little plastic spacers just for this).
Not rocket science.
Aesthetically, I'd go for p-clips then. I think the long spacer trick looks more like a bodge.
