A LFGSS user has kindly alerted me that one of my stolen bikes has surfaced at his parent's flats.
It seems to be there sometimes, not there at other times, so might belong to a visitor.
The police told me to call 999 if I see my bike, but this is a bit trickier. Can anyone recommend the best course of action?
Ask lufgus user to sling a lock around it next time he sees it?
Lufguss user has offered, but is not sure whether that would cause issues with the residents, as it's a form of vigilante justice, and current "owner" probably wasn't the original thief.
