Lovely. Does this stay folded without the guards (and hook)?

I'm potentially interested, but curious about the suspension setup - I don't recall having seen a spring like this before, and isn't there usually a little plastic clip to release the rear triangle near the suspension block?

It's an aftermarket titanium spring, made in Taiwan. Good stuff. The rear hinge clip is there too by the looks of it, you just can't see it clearly. Even if it isn't you can buy one for £15, dead easy to fit.

I don't think I can resist. DM sent.
After building this originally for my mum she has since decided it is not her cup of tea (her words). My partner already has a Brompton so having two in the house is a bit excessive.
The bike is not a true superlight. I replaced the original rear triangle with the titanium version after I was offered one at a bargain price. Everything on the bike is pretty much new. The only original parts are the main frame and fork. It was powder coated by Armourtex earlier this year and as far as I'm aware is the only Brompton in the world to be this iridescent colour.
New parts:
Titanium rear triangle
2017 Brakes and shifters
2017 M handlebar (shallower than the old style)
Titanium Rear suspension
CNC Carrier Block
Hand built wheels (black edition rims with silver spokes is not available via Brompton)
Black edition extended seatpost
Brooks saddle (ladies version but it works fine for me)
Gumwall tyres
KMC Chain
Black edition chainset
It will come with the Brompton C Bag and official Brompton tool kit that can be stored within the main frame.
£850
I can post at cost (£35 + paypal fees) or it can be collected from where I work inSouthwark, central London.
