More poundland action, this time in a Kiev 3a
The results from this camera are great but I found it an ergonomic nightmare

I managed to shoot a roll of Portra 400 through my Yashica C finally, result was a set of slightly boring pictures, this heavily cropped picture being the best one. A friend wanted to buy the camera so I decided to let it go. Focusing with the huge viewfinder was a joy and I might get another MF camera some day.

My little clear-out of camera stuff is continuing.
I'm selling a really nice 50mm Nikon lens if anyone is interested.

Cheers, I think I'll postpone the clean as I'm quite fond of the results and it's a lovely camera to use.

Pentax Espio Mini if you can get one cheap(ish) or Nikon 28Ti/35Ti or Ricoh GR1 if budget will stretch?
-
• #14115
The Nikon TI's are really prone to failure. Weak motors and temperamental shutters.

Good to know, I'm not really in the market for one as they're a fair bit of change but borrowed one a few years ago and was impressed. Should also point out I have similarly nil experience of the longevity of the Ricoh on a long term basis.

Yeah, it's a shame because it has a great lens and takes stunning photos.

Contrast of old dead tree and young sapling works well too.
