I am joking. But no, now that I am used to riding with a base layer, I find riding without one to be really gross actually. I find that a base layer helps regulate my temperature far better, helps wick sweat away from the skin. Keeps me warm when I'm cold and cool when it's hot. Purely a personal decision.

Code expired, I could have bought, can't remember, now I do touring shorts! Will I get new code 25% on the fifty quid probably not.

Yeah, layering etc is all very personal.
I do have a pro team sleeveless mesh base layer and it makes bib straps more comfortable on the shoulders but I'm not sure about keeping me cooler when hot and humid.
I'll probably try a PT flyweight bundle when I can get it for a good price.

Yes, it's a "base" layer. :)

That base layer would be ok without the fucking slogan. Very Next, much Top Man fashion tee, no need. At least when that stuff was hidden on the inside of a pocket it was like a geeky secret-emblazoned everywhere it's like a Top Gear mug in the office.

I remember someone posting a bib shorts length comparison but it seems unsearchable/findable.
Anybody have more luck? The classic lightweights are messing up my PT tanlines.

Has anyone tried both the old and new ProTeam bibs in S or XS and can comment on the new thinner chamois being a much better fit?
-
• #28874
can't vouch for those sizes but my PT bibs (L) are the shit. Best bibs I've owned yet.

Decided to give the backpack a try.
I'm not so fussed about the experience of riding with a sweaty back, what I'm hoping to avoid is after the first week of commuting having a bag that stinks like Hippy's dancing girdle.
