Well that DUP press statement said absolutely nothing

the DUP can be good at saying nothing... they said nothing about the dodgy Brexit ad either, but used lots of words anyway ;)

Question; Can May form with DUP and that's it? Or is there a chance for a counter move, or rejection of the alliance.
Seems absurd she can get away with this.

If it's a formal coalition then it's enough seats for a majority government, otherwise she can form a minority govt with the Queen's approval. The wording in her statement isn't clear but I think it's a minority govt with DUP agreeing to help vote things through for them.

But we have not seen an approval from the Queen? That's where I sit confused.
-

The first line of her statement after her meeting with the Queen at midday was
"I have just been to see Her Majesty the Queen, and I will now form a government"
So I assume she was given permission to form a minority govt. -

Just saw somebody on FB summarise the DUP manifesto as "basically, the Bible, with fortnightly bin collections".

That for the general shot in the arm of the Labour party and it's voters, fookin' flying here

Tories have a 13 MPs who can't vote on English matters due to thier EVEL legislation, so no majority on those issues

I missed the part where you said they don't need a 2/3rds majority in all cases.
Interesting to hear what the Tory voters who bash Abbot's memory of figures think of the DUP leader's involvement in the RHI scandal costing the taxpayer half a billion pounds...
