Yes, sadly it's true that people agree with them. I'm just riffing without any numbers, but I'm sure at least some people vote UKIP in safe Tory seats 'to remind Theresa about Brexit' or whatever. They couldn't do that with a better PR system.

I've not seen evidence that supports the idea that UKIP vote went to Conservative.
It was a bit of both. Tories and Labour picked up UKIP votes, that's what produced these odd and sometimes very large swings. How much exactly will be for the number-crunchers to work out in the next few days.

May's been exposed as the overpromoted middle manager she is.

I detest the DUP. I lost my SDLP MP (who is also pro abortion ban btw...!!) but was decent on other things to a corrupt good for nothing DUPer

The video just uploaded on Corbyn's twitter feed is pretty good. Looks like he knows that last night was the starting gun for the next election, and will therefore stay in campaign mode.

DUP have made a deal with May, the price is that there's no special Brexit status for NI. I don't know much what this means to be honest.

I thought forming a coalition with a party with strong links to terrorist paramilitary organisations was a bad thing?

They might have less incentive to do it. It would still be entirely possible.

Fuckery. That's what that means.
Everybody is like "oh we don't want a hard border" BUT if the UK crashes out of the EU, it's what they'll have to do.
A soft border is also difficult, and costs lots of money which we don't really have.
Special status would be NI stays in the EU, no border crap, or a border around the island.
