  • I heart cocktail time.

Also like these SLA017 reissue jazzers.
    Bit spendy though

  • Hesalite was preferred to crystal in space ships as it doesn't shatter into tiny pieces if it breaks. Tiny pieces of crystal would be nearly impossible to gather up in zero gravity and could cause a problem for equipment/astronauts if it's floating around.

On earth, where the majority of wannabe astronaut moon watch wearers will forever be based it's more useful to have a watch glass that doesn't scratch if you sneeze on it.

Don't you dare tell me I'll never make it into space.

  • Depends if you have a scratchy scratchy watch or a muggles crystal, really.
Everyone knows you have to have the watch before they will consider you for Space School.

  • From reading about alien planets in the library in the 80's to sitting on the sofa now I've never given up on the belief that one day I'll be riding a cyborg dinosaur under the light of binary suns.

  • Not sure this is worth 8 submariners... 😬

  • What the sweet titties is that? I like. I think.

  • There's a clue in the name...

    (If u like stuttgarts best)

  • "The Track1 is the result of a three-way partnership between Singer founder Rob Dickinson, watch designer Marco Borraccino, and watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht."

  • Plexi ftw

  • Yep, big brass ones. I'm massaging them right now. Want to smell my fingers?

  • A few months after I got it, but here's my Oris GMT

  • And yes I'm up late watching the election results

  • Something of the Dieter about that...

  • Hesalite because it just looks a million times better for any crystal that isn't entirely flat and set flush with a bezel. You can actually see through hesalite whereas sapphire has all sorts of weird refractions and stuff going on which make the outer edges opaque. It's not (in the case of the Speedmaster) such a pleasingly soft dome either, rather like a pronounced shoulder.

  • Your wrist? Amazeballs boast post if it is

  • Whats slightly confusled is the jedi mind trick of swapping them round in each pic...

  • No, not mine.

I just have the one, but imo it's the best of both worlds; hesalite on the front, sapphire on the back.

  • "sapphire on back"
    Burn the Heretic !!

  • sort of reverse mullet

  • Ha

  • /troll

  • That horrible thing above has been taken to pieces (I only wanted the strap from it).
I'd like to find a black face red led square module to drop into the case above.

Does anyone know where I can find basic digital watch display-modules?
