Sinn Fein = Catholic pro-single Ireland
DUP = Protestant pro-UKDUP are effectively like the Falklanders and Gibraltar parties in being very pro-UK and pro military, etc.
They side with the Tories all the time, their party whip is basically always going to act in the same way as the Tory whip, but they are seldom to never needed.

Technically... SF is NOT a catholic party, but marxist in origin. They do not resist the catholic church too much as it can cost them votes. But they aren't religious.

In my mind they're unpleasant uber torys - is that true?
