  • I don't know. I'm trolling a bit, as I think Corbyn has had an excellent campaign and really upped his game. But if Labour had a young, charismatic leader without the Corbyn baggage, I think they'd have wiped the floor with the Tories (but May would've never called an election if they did).

    I think the positives are clear though, Labour must build on them irrespective of the result.

  • Don't buy this at all.

    The moment Labour's support rocketed recently coincided with their manifesto. Pretty much the same moment the Labour Party stopped bickering amongst itself and got behind a decent set of policies.

    Some smooth private school twat like Umunna would have given us some bollocks austerity Tory-lite and not have made a dent.

    If Labour's support among the young has risen at all in this election, just look at why that might be, and the new energy that has come into the party. I never voted for Corbyn thinking he was the right man for leading the party into an election, but the recent swell in support has shown we're at least going in the right direction, at last.
