They're divers, though. I struggled to find a GMT pilot style watch for under a grand - most reasonable I could find was Oris, which was just over.

I wonder why pilot watches command a premium even with identical movements?
£800 extra seems like a big premium for a different style case.
Maybe it's the size of the crystal? Or just that they can get away with it...
