The Endura Superlight Short is really good, id slap a mud guard on as well as it helps a load! the sks super dry (i think its called) is really good, just clips onto your seatpost with an easy strap and they are only a tenner. oh and go to a real bike shop and ask them about stuff thats the best way. none of this lazy interweb shopping, bah!

warm dry and not sweaty. -

How about rainlegs Wiggle link
They just cover the front part that gets the wettest and don't restrict your legs.

Not wet shorts. So my crotch doesn't rot.
No mudguards on race bike. -

I have a pair of camo coloured waterproofs from the army surplus that I cut off into shorts.
They have a very simple elastic drawstring waist so the fit isn't great but keep me bone dry.

Endura make some good ones.

Yeah they seemed good. I found some gore ones discounted on crc somwill try them first.

I've some Paclite ones that have been great over the years, they're Scott branded. It always amazes me more people don't use fully waterproof over shorts. Hey ho

Thanks but I don't think small will fit me. I've actually pretty big thighs, yet no sprint!
Let me know though, what model, just incase.I ordered those reduced gore ones I saw on CRC, so hopefully they're good.
Anyone got anything to recommend? I can never be arsed to get changed where I am going and don't like wondering around with with soggy padded lycra crotch under my regular shorts....
Looking at a couple of Endura ones - the Single Track or Superlite Shell Shorts... anyone got either before I part with my cash?
