Lots of near misses on here recently, I normally associate poor weather with poor driving, looks like that's out the window.
To add my story, last Wednesday I was on my way to collect my better 1/3 from her office (first day commuting from our new place) and had a very near miss. Cycling down Faringdon St in the cycle lane, car approaches the junction with Smithfield (on my left) at speed, perpendicular with me and without any right of way. Assume he's seen me, but I was wrong, doesn't stop before the junction and continues straight out into the road with me perfectly between the headlamps. No idea how I rescued it (must have been mm between bumper and rear tyre when I passed), shook me up for a few hours.
