I was thinking this morning that a slim Tory majority might actually be a good thing as it could deliver a very long Labour government from 2020, where maybe a Lib/Lab/SNP/Green coalition could only survive one term.
This is what I will keep telling myself on Friday.

Theresa May looked particularly harried and out of her depth in that appearance. Her fake laugh and bizarre grin seemed to be signs of stress/Maybot malfunction, not so much of age, I think. She's since appeared looking much more composed.

BBC Radio4 WatO,
Tebbitt, Owen and for balance Beckett!
No one else available,
or has the booker found a contact list from the '80s? -

No Tory majority also emboldens the UKIP faction again as she'll not be able to pander to the extreme right of Conservative party in the same way and certainly won't be able to deliver Brexit without being forced to consult parliament, re-opening the possibility of another referendum they would likely lose. I hope at least.

I am aware I might ruffle a few feathers by bringing up a female politician's appearance, but fucking hell these last 7 years have been hard on her. If she is as worn down as she looks...
Not a supporter, but she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes about 2012. Presumably a factor.

She literally can't answer a question with a straight answer.

Isn't that the job spec for a politician?

The use of the phrase "very clear" is deliberate and classic distraction technique when doing exactly the opposite and avoiding answering the question.

At least stopped say 'strong and stable'

Yes I'd very much agree. It's not actually about appearance but behaviour.

In what way?
Diabeetz just means you have to eat the cakes one by one throughout the day instead of all in one go at 11am.
Are you thinking of progeria?

I'm going admit I have absolutely no idea. I had the impression from somewhere that it could cause a generally unhealthy appearance.

We got a leaflet with our name and address on from the fucking torys through the door today. Sending it back shredded.

• #1942
oh no she hasn't...
This seems massively misguided, just moving onto Brexit when she's facing so much heat on police cuts and her security record.
Can't think this is going to stop her poll gap narrowing...

The guardian has actually come out swinging for Corbyn now.
Respect to them. -

Who would have thought that the Labour Party would have a sitting Tory government in trouble on a matter of 'Law & Order'?
The Parliamentary Labour Party, I'm looking at you!
Every Labour spokesperson needs to turn every interview into a restatement of the cuts in Police numbers caused by Teresa Mayhem.

I had a Esprit de l'escalier* moment this morning when going out to check my post box.
There outside the post boxes and next to the intercom buttons was a nice jolly Conservative woman trying to contact me on my intercom thingy but I was obviously out.
Ah ! Mr not4sale ?
Yes I am?
She asked me what my voting intentions were ... bottled it* so she told me that we must stop this Labour leader cos he will ' spend us to death and he supports terrorists y'know'.
I didn't take her Conservative leaflet and she put me down as undecided - (bollocks I am).BTW the only thing in my post box was the Labour leaflet.

Yes, definite suggestion of some being more equal than others.
It also suggests the strongandstablemaybot lacks-conviction, isn't really very principled and just gets blown where the political wind takes her.

Should you have the time,
the technique is to waste 15 minutes of their time, showing intense interest in many policies from the local Tory candidate, then when they are looking at their watch,
ask the killer question; 'What about food banks/Police numbers/school funding',
to leave them wondering how much of an 'undecided' you are.Your investment of 15 minutes has hopefully prevented them bothering 8 - 10 other people.

Simply put she has no integrity. She's driven by a desire for personal power and to stick her nose as deeply into the trough as she can - vide her husband standing to make an absolute fortune from the enforced equity release program.
TMay has looked into the void that is Brexhit.
9 months of pre-Article 50 tentative non-discussion discussions led to the Tories deciding the only way for their party to survive Brexhit was to gain some more time after March 2019 for the economy to, hopefully, pull out of the inevitable recession.
A larger majority would have allowed TeamMay to face down the b4st4rds from the days of J0hn Major, who continue to push for the 'just walk away' option. Her own lacklustre performance has lessened the likelihood of this route to GE2022.
