I agree some are taking too much but it looks like he's barely got room for any repair kit and food together, let alone anything else.

Andrew Suzuki in first place has a similarly minimal setup. Looks like he's out for a day ride! :)

My friend Andy (Lawrence) is racing too, he's got some distance pedigree, should be good to watch.

Always interesting to see the aero vs weight vs (perceived) reliability compromises people make. TT bike and hoody is an interesting choice. Relatively few dynamos too.

Can't help but admire that he seems to have decided to bypass any complicated aero carbon weight-saving by just taking minimal stuff on what looks a fairly stock bike.
