  • Is it ready?

    Yes, this!
I believe you're just down the road from me @amey. Have a headset press if that's holding you up!

  • Although I don't really know how to use it.

  • He picked mine up earlier. He wouldn't even stop for coffee or the cake that Mrs Sparky had just made so I assume he's in a furious panic to build it immediately and post pictures this evening.

  • Page 46 tho. Is that really the number? Maybe he's holding off for 50 in a bid to take the title for longest ever CP thread from Dammit

  • but i forgot to borrow crown race installer

  • Be sure to let @hillbilly take it for a spin once it's skiddable.

  • My crown race tool is made of an old car jack. I'd speak to Claire and use hers if I were you.

  • I'm around this evening.

  • There's a crown race installation tool? Adjustable spanner and hammer ftw...

  • ^ this all day

  • I use the pipe from the vacuum cleaner.

  • I instantly regret buying Dyson v8 .. that's what I did in the past

  • no other regrets though ...

  • Broken your Dyson getting the crown race on yet?

  • "Tomorrow"eh? I wonder if the Dyson is even real...

  • You're a rebus master

  • What if there's an unfortunate accident while sorting the crown race/bb shell/whatever and the bike falls on amey, crushing him and pinning him down (due to the weight of the sora components and brakes). His shouts for assistance are taken ('disc brakes are dead? we know you need help mate!') as ironic. His instragram posts trying to document his predicament to summon rescue are as poorly composed as always and the clear cry for help is missed. The bike lies unfinished. Disc brakes are dead. So is amey.

    RIP in peace.

  • Just trying to get to page 50 before the great unveiling of Amey's proud weapon, glistening in the crepuscular light, sheathed in manly Sora, with creamy white accents and a sensual lustre to the s&s couplings and the faint whiff of rapha embrocation, fifty quid wheels and fresh latex mingling in the olfactory mechanism... People will remember where they were on the day that this splendid contraption was finally birthed into the forum after a gestation period similar to that of a human child (but better because it has Paul cantis)
