Has to be H PLUS SON?
I would turn the wheels around so it reads H PLUS SON from the drive side, yes. Don't know if your rear hub is fixed/fixed though.

It would if the wheels were spun for 180 degrees, would it not?
-
• #3904
Yes. Then the caps wud be aligned too.

anyone know if a 28mm gatorskin will fit in a parallax fork? or to stick with a 25?
-
• #3908
Depends on the rim. A23's with 28c left 2mm clearance on each side of the fork. The sidewall occasionally grazed the fork whenever I got out the saddle. Lost a little paint.

I'm thinking about building up either a 2017 vigorelli or a white and blue parallax. I'm thinking that since the bike is my main mode of transportation that the high bottom bracket on the vigorelli may be an annoyance? Any of you guys commuting on these types of bikes?

Annoyance to what? Some people prefer it, some don't. Ultimately you probably won't notice. Plenty of people commute on track bikes without issue. I have been for the last 3 years without ever noticing

Vigorelli has a high bottom bracket?
-
• #3912
I've been commuting on some steamroller or another for 11 years but the geometry is so much different on the "true" track bikes. I like steel so the vigorelli is interesting to me but the standover on the vigorelli is much higher(?) so it seems like stopping I'm going to have to tip the bike over quite a ways to get my feet down if that makes sense? I've been riding for a while but I have only ever had a 56cm steamroller with a 110 stem. No place around me has these bikes to hop on and try out and the different geometry is confusing to me.

From the Cinelli website:
HIGHEST BB EVER
Raised bottom bracket to allow continuous pedaling through every curve. -

If you've not unboxed it send it back and buy again at discount price?

Only if you have very little seatpost showing.

My Mash Parallax - first ride today at HHV. Felt fast but kind of wish they did an XXL as it feels a bit small. Will play around with fit more (seatpost is a bit low in this picture)
-
• #3917
That MASH is extremely long and low, id just flip the stem like a pro and ride it.
Or get that Specialized Hover bar (come in 36cm too).
-
• #3918
Vigorelli and Parallax are two completely different geo, latter is extremely low and long.
-
• #3919
@spinnnout uses the hover bar right?
-
• #3920
My colleague ordered a 36cm one by mistake which I'll buy off him (don't really need wide handlebar on track).
In the meantime just flip stem upside down for now, and give it the willies, work for Victoria;

Do you mean it's low as in low top tube(standover)?
-
• #3925
38cm, mate rides them too, really like them on the track bike.

Have track grips on now, better than bar tape IMO.
NOS Sꓵꓶꓒ H... Cannot unsee.
Bike looks good though!
