  • Rapha have a 'pop up' sale coming to Birmingham on Friday, setting up for 3 days at The Market Hall in the Custard Factory.

  • 54cm Beater frame for sale. Early alloy specialized allez frame (no forks), used to be blue, now badly painted (not by me) black, but appears to be in solid condition. 54cm square and comes with a seatpost. £10 collected from B27 near journeys end pub. Can take a pic if anyone is interested.

  • Could you send a picture of the frame if you still have it?

  • Any completes for sale?

  • Harry! What BCD are the cranks?

  • 104/64 bcd and 175mm length

  • I've got a Max Power rotor guard for sale, £25. It's this model in raw finish: http://store.maxpowercycles.de/index.php/rotor-guards/rotor-guard-is2000-tough.html

Also a Tubus Tara front rack in black, great condition with all the fixings, £40.

  • Track bike with nice chromey bits, but is vintage and therefore not immaculate. Seat tube 55cm/21 3/4" c-t, top tube 57cm/22 1/2" c-c. Wheels are tubular vintage mavic with a Schwalbe and a conti tube fitted. They have a sticker saying that they have passed inspection for use at the national championships.
Shorter cranks (165 or 160, not sure) and Nitto Noodle bars. If you are about 6' tall there is a little toe overlap and you are a bit too big for the bike (like me).

This belonged to Sean from Shelly cycles who died of a brain tumour. I've kept it for years for sentimental reasons, but I ride it about once a year as I am not really the type of person who rides a bike without mudguards and am more comfortable with a rear brake (which this bike cannot take).

This would suit someone shorter than I (~5'8" maybe) or who likes to race on small bikes.

I will include a spare tub, a can of tub-repair spray/inflator and some tub tape.

£400 is probably a crazy high price for this, but if you're cool enough for this bike you can probably afford it.

  • Bern Helmet in large and yellow (57-59cm) £15

Used for about 6 months, but I then moved to a a more ventilated helmet. It's good for winter wear and has the big plus of protecting the back of your head. Also very visible.

Nitto Moustache bars, 25.4 clamp, 54cm wide (end to end)

NOS essentially, fitted to my bike without bar tape and ridden once, but I didn't like it.
I found these selling in the UK for over £50, so maybe £30 is reasonable?

    Base layers, £5 each
Paradox Dri-Release size M, 11% Merino. One black one navy blue. BNWT

    Polartech tops £10 each
Land's End L (42-44) in Polartec Aircore 100. One black, one grey. BNWT

    Jerseys:

Pearl Izumi Ernie and Bert M, unworn but no tags, £25

Primal Wear Curious George L, used, sleeve elastic have gone a bit solid, not sure if that will wash out or not hence £15

Voler Good News Cycling, no size I can find but same as the George so I would say L, worn, £10

  • Mavic cosmic elite wheelset. Unsure of age as they were second hand when I got them. Overall tidy condition, very small amount of play in front hub bearings but they are cartridge bearings so easy to swap. Still smooth though and true. Rear wheel has a small, short raised section / ding on the brake track, (hard to describe) only mentioning it for clarity, cannot be felt when riding and doesn't show in photos. Bearings good, no play. Small amount of concaving to rims but tons of life left.

Both campagnolo and shimano freehubs included, 5 minute job to swap them over. Both freehubs will take 9-11 speeds. Skewers also included. They are fitted with Continental GP4000s 23mm tyres in well used condition, but still many more miles left in them.

£100 collected from B27 or I can deliver in Birmingham for £10.

  • A few freecycle items:

Deda Piega Handlebar 44cm Black, 26mm clamp
    (more info/stock photos here)

SKS Raceblade mudguards. Black, 700c / 18-23c. More info here.
Think the front stays might have been cut down or adjusted, I can't really recall. I found them quite temperamental hence happy to see them go. Includes loads of the rubber bands SKS provide.

Cateye front light. Requires 1 AA battery. Includes an extra bracket. the main body of the light has snapped from the part that clips into the bracket, so needs fixing (supergluing or simply taping back together) The light itself is in good working order.

All free, free, free. Collection from B29 or B5 during weekdays.
