If you listen to his speech, he's not explicitly saying anything.
They might be out but they might find some "deal" (if you can deal with the laws of thermodynamics) that will keep them in.It's all noise, as usual. Look at the other laws that were passed in the meantime.

It'll take 4 years to actually withdraw. So it'll only happen if he wins a second term. There's hope yet.
Also, gas is cheap in America thanks to shale. So coal is unlikely to regain its previous share of the US gen mix unless he mandates coal burn. Personally I think that's unlikely, but not impossible.
And yes, shale has problems but it is better than coal.

The usa is a world leader in using alternative power its weather they can keep leading or weather they go all shale and fracking. Also we can hope that states can impliment there own emissions laws.
I would say he is causing a covfefe By pulling out of the agreement sll fuss and posturing and chucking some bait to his electoral base. And just being a dick. -

It isn't, though. Europe is way ahead, particularly Germany. The problem in Germany is that they have a lot of lignite and a lot of lignite miners, so they have a massive deployment of renewables and are still burning way too much dirty shit.
edit - although a vast amount of the kit is made in China. Here's the NYT take. I think they're right

I thought the usa lead in renewable energy with solar farms and the size of wind farms they have out on the west coast. But at the same time are a massive polluter with coal and gas. Something i read somewhere but of course it was probably just spin. i stand corrected
Its just really shit he has dropped out of the agreement and its worrying with the cuts he has made to the environmental agencies -

January 1989: For $200,000, Trump signs a group of Soviet cyclists for the Albany-to-Atlantic City road race, dubbed the Tour de Trump, that will take place that May.
Some of the earlier Lfgss group rides were a bit shit.

What little respect Trump might've had amongst other leaders must be completely gone by now. Pretty impressive to take the worlds most powerful country from respected to ridiculed in a few months

"We have been very clear in our manifesto that the climate is an issue worth thinking and acting on. Our track record demonstrates our dedication to climates, and we will continue to create new and better climates for hard working Britains in the next five years and beyond."

She can't though can she; she's run out of friends / allies abroad. What a rubbish place she's lead us to.

At a time when Europe is taking on the mantle of leading the world, we decide to fuck off out of it and buddy up with the worlds despots, dictators and man babies.
Go us!

Who'd have thought taking quick, ill timed and ill informed decisions over decades worth of negotiations and policies would have a downside!

Well the UK and USA always had a "special relationship" ;)

Yes. This.
Makes me sick. -

Thankfully I'm of to Great America to visit Yellowstone in a few weeks before it turns into a wasteland. Quite interested (terrified) to speak to folk in the middle of the country to see what they think of Trump.
-
• #2743
Ugh... The idea of going through border control in the US turns me off the idea of ever going back...
Enjoy your trip, would love to go to Yellowstone some day...

pro-tip.
if you've applied for an esta in the past 4 years, there's a good chance it's still valid, allowing you to semi-jump the hell-queue at your destination.
-
• #2745
My folks are in Yellowstone at the moment. They've not been eaten by bears yet.
-
• #2746
Remember - you don't have to outrun the bears, you just have to outrun the other guy.
-
• #2747
They took my dad's older sister with them, presumably because they can both outrun her.
-
• #2748
I'm reading this at the moment, it's a bit harrowing. Don't go boating in Yellowstone Lake if it looks like there is any chance of wind, and don't stray off the paths in the hotsprings area.
-
• #2749
ESTA lasts two years and has never helped me even semi-jump any queues.
-
• #2750
tell that to the TSA guard who saved me two hours of queueing last time i was at jfk
Isn't there a Paris, Texas?
(Or was it just a film?)
