Regardless of whether or not you knew about the problem, now you do. It is not a standard fitting and as such, nobody can use this fork with a brake. That is not for the buyer to find out and have to deal with. It is your problem. If he takes it up with ebay, he will be given a refund without you having a say.
Hello guys, I'm the seller of this. I sold the frame as it was. This is how all of these framesets are made by factory. I did not know a standard brake wouldn't fit. Never ride with a brake. I don't think it's fair for the buyer to ask for a refund, or partial refund. It's not damaged, or anything. The frame was brand spanking new. Wanted to build it myself, but couldn't.
I think it's a shame that all of this happend, want for the buyer to enjoy the frame! But can't do anything about something that the buyer didn't expect. It's not fair to ask for a refund when things aren't working out the way you hoped they would. If he had asked me to measure it, I would've.
Am I being wrong here?
