I don't mind at all! As long as I get to stretch my legs on the uphills I'm all good!
I mean, the climbs are the reason we all go out there, right?

Hope you and your bike are feeling better today!

I got round pretty much unscathed.
I think it was Russ who had the argument with the tree; hope he is all ok.

I see that I won't be able to make one of these rides before Epping returns to bog of eternal stench mode.
Looking at that photo of the ride that Aroogah posted it appears that you all made a den in the woods or something.

Thanks to the back/pit stopping honey badgers for badgering me on through and beyond; being lost/soaked/muddy/exhausted, seat post failure and near front wheel departure in the middle of somewhere. A great day.

Whoops! Got you confused for @Jon3i there!

Yep it was I who kissed the tree. Very embarrassing. Hehe

Still aiming for an end of Summer ride September/October. Traditionally the driest time of the year.

I told you that the "insurance" money would be worth it...

Glad you enjoyed it! Could see you were suffering on those climbs, but you still made it through the whole thing :-)

Had a great time. Thanks @BareNecessities for leading us round the woods. Also thanks to Beavertown Brewery for the use of their hose and the supply of tasty beers post ride.

Due to peer group pressure from the honey badgers together with the laws of physics and seat post failure, I've upgraded to a stealth "submarine periscope" dropper post. A good idea, so far.

Congrats, now your seatpost can let you down at the push of a button!

Looked great! Very jel. Hoping to re-up my badger membership this year.
