Anyone tried getting a 700x20C onto the new wave of wide rims?

Pre-stretch new tyres on another rim; my LB tubeless compatible were absolute cuntz with a brand new Corsa G+ tyre but fine after I mounted it on another rim.

They're not new, they were old race tyres.
I didn't end up using it and had quite enough trouble from rim tape failure and beads not seating. Karma for no drama during TCR4...
