You could try it but if it doesn't work you'll need a new rim and probably new spokes too.

I actually have my hed Belgiums setup tubeless and they work fine.. But if I where you I would try to get some hed Belgium + rims instead

My only experience with running non-tubeless rims tubeless was with the old A23's. They worked okay but I couldn't run lower pressures (<30 psi) without burping issues. Wouldn't race them.

I just accidentally bought a Hed Belgium C2 rim without realising it's not tubeless ready. It was £15 so it's not the end of the world, but is it even worth building up and trying tubeless or is it just going to burp all the time at 'cross pressures? or should i just sell on and get a tubeless ready rim?
