Maybot crashed big time - maybe Murdoch needs to update its firmware?

Paxman was (a little surprisingly) hopeless.
-
• #1389
Am surprised that there's a fair few of people calling it a "draw" or that Maybot nailed it.
I guess the unfortunate truth is that some people just want to see and hear what they want to.

Think May did well not to cry. Looked like she was close to it from the first question.
Paxman was woefully unprofessional. Playing to the galleries, trying to be the star.

Yeah. I'm a fairly unbiased viewer and I put it at 60/40 in favour of Corbyn. Ultimately neither of them were especially inspiring, but neither took any punches either. The big difference is that the audience laughed in May's face and they didn't in Corbyn. I think you have to be very partisan to take that as anything other than an L for May.

paxman, humphreys, robinson, all self confessed tories, completely unsuited to conducting impartial interviews on a subject where they are ideologically opposed to one of the viewpoints.
on radio four this morning, after patronising and repeatedly interrupting angela rayner humphrys has a cosy chat with his mate david davis.

Paxman is a shit parody of what he used to be good at.

They appear to be freaking out that he can't come up with a number for the cost of their child care policy.
-
• #1399
Why can't he just say sorry, that figure has slipped my mind but it is costed and I will get the details for you?
-
• #1400
And since this technique, asking for details of costs, has been used a lot by journalists this election, why was he not expecting it?
Can't believe Paxman ... part rottweiler, part labrador ...
