Why have the cut out in frame if your not going to fill it with wheel? Srs q

Look have tested it and found a gap to be more aero.

I forget the exact deets/tech terms, but broadly speaking as the air attached to the tyre is pulled into the gap, if it's too tight then it stalls as it's squeezed out.

As Hoke actually intends to race it, then max aeros FTW, drag that wheel back.

If Hoke intended to HHSB it, then would slammage style at cost of aeros gain max HHSB points.

Scilly is right, and about 10-12mm gap is optimal.

I rode next to it, and it near it and watched it overtake me on the track. It's a very nice bike.
