Yeah, but that gets said of most companies with a strong design sense. By their nature, designers are a bit control-freaky and obsess over minor details, which shades into wanting to (wishing they could?) control the whole environment.
(Interesting article BTW; I'd not heard of Suzy Rice. I think her account of the relationship between Helvetica and fascism is at best confused, mind...)
Interesting. Thinking about it there are parallels between the control and uniformity of Rapha design and the styling favoured by the Empire.
