Anybody have idea when the last grand tour was with six riders so tightly split on GC going into the last stage?

Finger crossed for Dumoulin. As long as he has a big turnout before the stage and doesn't have a mechanical, I'm pretty confident he's got this.

Don't be forgetting that NQ is going to be a challenger at the Tour - probably the only real challenger, given the luck of Porte (although I pray for Bardet and, please god, let Contador find an opportunity to light up the race) - I would imagine that this has been a major consideration throughtout, rather than him being some kind of shadow of his former self.

Where two or more riders make the same time in the general individual time placings, the fractions of a second registered during individual time trials (including the prologue) shall be added back into the total time to decide the order.

If the result is still tied or if there are no individual time trial stages the placings obtained in each stage shall be added and, as a last resort, the place obtained in the last stage ridden shall be taken into consideration.

So does NQ have to wear a badly fitted pink skin suit that isn't his own? Or will Movistar of had one made for him just in case?
