As the surly undergoes the transformation away from super practical road bike, the actual road bike needs to be made wet-weather friendly. Just bought a pair of these: https://www.radialcycles.co.uk/radial-avert-pro-mudguards-1.html
At £18 (10% off with code RADIAL10) they seem like ridiculously good value. Will report back.

Please do, they look great. Did you get the narrow or wide ones?
ridiculously good value
Couldn't resist, ordered a pair as well. Need to functionalize my fixed commuter, cleaned it after winter a whila ago and had to scrape gunk off with a knife before I could start scrubbing it :)
do these come with fixings to attach to bikes without mudguard mounts? I'm looking for something skinny to fit to a caad12.
So that the one that Cannondale have on their bicycle! they're annoying bugger, the mount that hold the stay to the mudguard can seized easily.
