Yes, a new ride. I still have my beloved Condor Lavoro (which evolved out of my original State fixie 'starter kit'), but just fell in love with the Cinelli Vigorelli HSL 2016 frame.
I love all Cinelli track bikes - it's what they do best imo - and love watching the MASH SF vids for that reason. And when they came out with last year's Vig frame... that was it. I tried to deny my feelings for about a year, but in the end relented.
With Rule 5 Bikes, we put together a nice custom build based around the frame and wheels from local builder DCR Wheels... BLB hubs, Fabric saddle, etc. And the result is fantastic. SPDs are so much easier than the Condor's footstraps. I've always thought bullhorn bars look great on a fixie, and the feel of them when riding is great too.
For me it looks fab, and rides like a dream... an extravagance perhaps, but I love it!
