Mine still works just fine. Except weirdly if I leave the bike locked up for a while on a warm day the post doesn't want to drop until I've ridden for a bit. But so far if I've remembered to drop it before leaving it it's been fine. No idea why

Gotta admit I'm kinda tempted to get one for my F-Si but then remembered I have two other bikes with droppers...

It's good for the price. If I could afford it I would upgrade to a remote but that's for another time.
I do find the crotch drop annoying. Not so much for dropping the post, but more for raising it again, standing up off the saddle, with one hand on the bars, and possibly pedalling (say trail goes suddenly uphill) is a bit sketchy. -
Yep it's good, definitely worth it. Remote would be even better but not a deal breaker for me

Big thanks to whoever it was on this thread recommending the cheap droppers. Haven't tried it out properly yet but seems decent, altho looks a little skinny shimmed from 27.2 to 31.6. Project budget MTB is finished now, I think.
