I am getting a bit bored of hearing other commentators in the background.

• #12303
Why? I love it

Irritating!
Velons coverage has been good, they've really stepped it up.

Didn't Rolland attack the group in the TdF once when every suffered punctures from tacks thrown in the road? Not classy.

Not quite straight up the Falzarego - had to go down from Corvara to La Villa first. Couldn't say much to @Cycliste on the Fedeia, as I dropped her early on chasing down some other cyclists. I don't think the Pantani line would work though, as we've both done Fedeia a few times before, so shed assume I was either very forgetful or very stupid. Situation normal then.
Off to do a second Sella Ronda in a week today to try and watch the race climbing both Pordoi and Gardena.

13,397m of climbing for me so far this month according to Strava. Should be over 20k by the end of the month.
If you're watching live, keep an eye out on the climbs for a fat sweaty old knacker dressed head to toe in Rapha hi-vis pink. Probably shouting 'Come on Tom!'.

I want to see Yates try something today.

I seem to remember there's a story in the fantastic book on the British Hill climb championships https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Books/Corinthian-Endeavour-Story-National-Hill-Climb-Championship/1874739765 of a winner of the coveted gold cap having it shat in by his team leader when racing in Europe

The 2nd cat climbs look just as hard as the 1st cats. Only 137km though. What are they complaining about?

Flecha, as much as I like him, does come across a bit Borat though.
-
• #12316
Flecha is cool.
-
• #12317
He's very sweet. Pierre Rolland's victory yesterday had him crying.

Right, in place with a stomach full of coffee and strudel. Turn 21 on the climb up the Pordoi.

So LTD today for Sunweb? No pressure, lad.

Looks like the racing has already exploded the peloton

Right, in place with a stomach full of coffee and strudel.
Careful now. That low-oxygen atmosphere can play tricks with your insides.

Glaswegian
EDIT and that does not mean he is any of the above...
Proper happy for Rolland and funny hearing other commentators going bonkers in the background of the erurosport commentary
