Maybe some type of marine waterproof grease, usually have corrosion inhibitors to resist the salt.

No, normal hubs; I've got some on my hack bike that the previous owner drilled for grease injection; when I bought it he mentioned he used something semi-fluid with lots of corrosion inhibitors that he could just inject into the hub body and let it make its way into the bearings, but no idea what it was.
