'Glamping Sword' - I like that.
Just take the appropriate shank for the tasks you'll be performing and there's really no question.
Prepping game? Need gut/tendon hook and a stout blade.
Firewood? Maybe a hiphophatchet.
General camping? Probably just a leatherman etc.
I've never thought twice about just taking the right tool for the job. Besides, everyone and their nans are tooled up out in the sticks.
