I had a similar issue with my MTB a few years back.
I have OCD when it comes to repairs, so I marked the spoke with electrical tape once repaired. 3 months later .PING. same spoke. Emailed Evan Cycles etc etc, they offered a free check on the wheel, they built I back up, rode the bike, 2 months later...PING. Same spoke.
I went directly to Mavic with the issue and told the whole story. They sent me a replacement while the original was sent off. They rebuilt, tested and got back a month later to say that they binned the original, let me keep the new one and said they would investigate. They put it down to an unknown fault in the drilling process.
