• I agree, not a good road to go down.
The fake Chris King headset above is closer to the line than , for example, a fake branded fully CNC'd Thomson post, because it's easy to spot due to that laser etching. A few more seconds in the machine, though, and it becomes a full blown fake, which if it gets unknowingly sold on as genuine later down the line, could be dangerous (@PhilDAS I know you'll state it as 'not genuine' if sold on, but the next guy might not. Not trying to have a go :-) ).
I believe the OP intended this as an 'open source' and 'similar to' -type products thread, rather than one for outright fakes, so IMO it's the fake branded stuff that should be posted elsewhere. This would also make it easier for people to find the 'proper' fake stuff, if that's what they want, than trawling, asking, or polluting the water here.

(Self-justification bit - feel free to mock) In general, I don't care what brand is on a product, with the exception of high quality 'track'/statement-y HHSB parts like Zen rings, SG75 cranks, etc... It's the product's function that is most important. I knowingly bought a fake Adamo because I got on really well with the two genuine ones bought new, and the fake was purely a cost saving measure when I wanted one for another build (<£20 vs £120)... And, I got the Jawbreakers after being unable to find another set of cheap glasses that have a high enough frame for decent field of view in a head-down-ish aero-ish position (which they're still not great at; frame still blocks my view :-) ).
Makes me a bit sad when people knowingly buy fake stuff purely because of the fake brand name printed on it, and the fake 'image' they intend to convey.
