Not at all. The distinction is important.
Someone was asking about fake helmets no so long back: so a fake helmet, with fake certification and fake protection.

Think we need a new thread; one for actual counterfeit branded stuff, rather than more respectable open mould carbon stuff, and components that are similar to, but don't claim to be, branded products.
TBH I was a bit appalled a few months ago when someone posted that they'd bought some fake Giro branded socks for a couple of quid. Socks FFS...
Of course, hypocrite here; owning one fake Adamo (*plus two genuine ones) and some AliExpress Jawbreakers :-/
