What do I do now
Sell it, buy a road bike.

Advice will be appreciated around -
chain rings, stem, track bars or risers, taping the bars or grips,
cog /sprocket size, pedals and lastly wheels.
This bike will be used on the road and presume that this will affect the advice on the above topics.
I have bought (70-80s) 165mm campagnolo record cranks and pista BB so far.
It will be used around reasonable hills as well. -

Don't be a damn tease and show the whole damn frame ;)

Reminds me of my own trajectory on here: from classic italian road bikes to track bikes. Looks like you scored a classy frame, can't go wrong with campa super record pista. Don't listen to poetic, he said sth similar when i got my Falcon. A year later I have three track bikes but I enjoy my road bikes just as much and wouldn't want to miss either one.

I don't think so. AFAIK the Pista headset was all polished, and didn't have the black bands.

Sideshowbob, are you intending to Track only or also ride on road or a bit of both.
Define what you want to use it for. This old thread may be a useful read.

Use - Road only.
The thread looks good and I will take a good look.
Ta
I have been part of the forum for a while now but have only owned road bikes and have received nothing but good advice and assistance along the way from others on here.
I have slowly been sucked in to the world of fixed bikes and have bought my first track frame and will begin a CP.
Be gentle as I am definitely a novice.
