What I find difficult about 'gentlemanly' conduct in the peloton is how subjective it is. When they slowed up for NQ the other day it wasn't because of a mechanical or something outside of his control- NQ screwed the corner and through rider error went down.
I guess you just have to stick to doing what you think is right but never expect favours to be returned and that way all is ok.
