Just done this myself as riding FKW attracts all the wheel hugging nob-heads. Gone with Sidi MTB's with pulled up snazzy socks, SWRVE shorts as they're slim fitting and feel indestructible (didn't get on with Rapha's). Tried my Rapha merino T but it didn't breathe well so I've gone back to a loose jersey as i like having back pockets for phone and nunchucks.
