  • I went grey. It's just a lighter material. Saves you about 300g by the looks of things. Think I got my two man for about £75 in the grey last year. Not sure it's worth it on the bigger three man as you should have someone to share the load with if you're using that.

The two man is a perfect one man tent in my book. Plenty of space for your stuff, but you wouldn't really want to squeeze two of you in if you want any kind of comfort. I imagine the three man is a good two man kind of size.

Also, never had to pay import duty on aliexpress, but this is probably the most expensive thing I've bought (£75). Think they mark the value down on the package to that of a cheap tent so you get away it normally. I cannot guarantee this though!

  • Cheers thanks for the info. What kind of weather have you been out in?

Yeah I'd want to go 3 man as I'll probably have a travel buddy. How grey is the grey? It looks white-ish, I'm worried it will show dirt too easily. But the green is also 40 quid cheaper!

  • Bit of drizzle is probably the maximum. It feels decently put together though, and for the money, nothing out there could rival it for weight.
There some hacks to improve the strength of the poles by the central three way joint. I just popped some gorilla tape around in an effort to make sure they don't split if the wind gets up. A minor preventative measure i'd probably do on any lightweight tent tbh.
