Gotta love the path by the bridge currently.

'Mini-Holland' cycling scheme critics told by judge: "There is no merit whatsoever in your claims"
-
• #106
But Mr Justice Holgate, sitting in London, ruled there was "no merit whatsoever" in any of the criticisms raised and ordered the group to pay £10,000 plus VAT towards legal costs incurred by Waltham Forest defending the scheme.
Ouch.

Dave Hill flaps his gums about it, it's a rather silly and pointless article with a mild sneering tone:

Dave Hill is clearly a prat. Here are two interesting claims though I haven't bothered to check the details. Orford road businesses growing and cycling rates amongst ethnic minorities at the same rate as white.

Nothing wrong with a little confusion, confusion helps slow people down and think about their interactions.

A nice little video telling us what we already know. The car drivers will no doubt be thinking they'd have got there faster if there weren't any cyclists on the road slowing them down.

my scepticism has lifted as the scheme has rolled outwards from the village.

Really? How come?

because now I get to use it :)
Plus most of the folks that i heard with problems with the scheme have since made it clear their problems are either solved, or weren't problems in the first place.

Alright kids.
I've just moved to the Lea Bridge Road and I've joined a few residents groups. One of the key things which these residents keep banging on about is how many trees are being uprooted for the cycle works. I'll dig through the thread for some counter evidence but if anyone has any recent stuff about proposed air improvement as a result of this works it'd be great to have it. Cheers
You have clearly not experienced the confusion caused by the mixed use cycle path / bus stop on Hoe Street.
