In a 12, the change of position is likely to be as important as the lower gear.

So you can change bikes in a TT? Interesting, never realised that. I'm planning on doing my first 12hr next year, with a view to nabbing the club record of 238 miles. Spending some 'easy' time on my S2 might make it a bit more bearable.
