This is only in kickstart form so I presume none of you have actually seen in the flesh/used them? I've only seen those 'bucket type' cyclocs before but these ones might get moar bikez! in (most of mine are Speedplay) than my two Minoura vertical racks... le hmm...

£40? What's wrong with:

Would that look at home in a
high value interior and architectural space
???

Erm, for one, I don't have a welder. Nor do I like the idea of metal on metal.

• #882
Arrrghhh... why couldn't they line the screws up properly :-(
-
• #883
More so than 3 fucking green bits of plastic yeah

Caution : Pedal hangers that are designed to be used with road or MTB will mean your bike is leaning waaaaaayyy far out from the wall. I bought one of these: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B001IHP8OM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and spent about 2 hrs with a hacksaw, a vice and a big hammer modifying it so that my bike felt less like it was leering over me and more like it was happily hanging on the wall. Obviously this kind of modification wouldn't be possible with a plastic hoop.

What did you end up with? Looking for a cheap hook solution for 4-5 bikes myself.
The clug is a possibility but at £16 / clug its a bit steep....
anyone have experience with this?
https://www.decathlon.co.uk/1-bike-wall-hook-id_3760125.htmlJust worried that the shed wall isn't sturdy enough for drilling anything in.

Still haven't built the damn thing yet. Summer project. I have the same problem, 5 or 6 hooks are going to add up. Been vaguely thinking about an alternative, but not come up with much yet.

Went with these in our shed. Reasonable quality for the price and bikes are hanging nicely.
Used better (longer) screws for installation.

Anyone in SEish London got an Asgard Annexe, and could I come and have a look / try it for size if so. I'm concerned "up to 3 bikes*" could end up meaning "1 bike".
-
• #890
We have an Asgard and I think it's the 4 bike model. 4 bikes I would say is a generous description. In Nunhead if you want to pop over. Drop me a PM.

• #891
Thanks for the offer. I think we've worked out that the 4-bike one isn't going to work in the space. I'll drop you a line if that changes, but probably OK for now

I am after some advice
We have some bike storage at work, basically hangers on a wall and work are interested in improving the facilities
The hangers are relatively flimsy, certainly smaller diameter than my lock, and up near the front wheel so I would like somthing to lock the frame to. I have seen pictures of basically a horizontal U shaped bar protruding from the wall for locking to.. Would anyone happen to have a source for these?

That does look clever. If one has a staircase like that.
-
• #896
Yep. Solution for block of flats/tenements.

But if it's in Glasgow some wobbly drunk would knock it and it would.fall down the central area.
-
• #899
On that point it has no security. From theft or accidents.

You can easily U-lock the bike to the rails...
WOW!! holly wall!!! Well done!!
