I actually wouldn't mind the colour if it was like this to begin with, but I get the point about cordura fading to a different colour... :-( It started to fade even without much contact with sun when I had it...
Hope everything works out and we get to see some new products in the near furture!

Quite a bit difference in size? Or is the picture
-
• #1506
they are the same size, the old one has been worn in so it's much softer hence it looks smaller. There are some slight differences here and there but both are esseitnally the same.

The old one also had a load of stuff in, so the bottom is more squared off and opened out.
The new one is empty, compressed, and flat. :) -

Looks like bo gear are closing there Australian custom bag making side too.
Great bags, but looks like making bags to order in a developed economy is a very difficult task indeed. -

It is when you're more interested in making bags than making money like I was! :)
But... As Stallone so eliquently put it in 'Lock up'. . . "nothing's dead around here until it's buried" :)

Good luck when you restart. It's a tough industry.
Businesses all need to be sustainable perhaps a cheaper brand should be run parallel to BRP to support it.
Like Enzo ferrari had to build the Fiat engined dino to support his v12 gt cars that he loved. He didn't put the Ferrari badge on it. That move ultimately saved the company. -

It's been something I've considered doing many times... But I couldn't tear myself away from the bags I really wanted to make for long enough to do anything about it.
But we'll see what the future holds.... -

BO Gear not a patch on BRP. I feel sad every time I put on a BO gear bag, but happy every time I use BRP.
Talking of which, any tips for stopping the inside of my saddle bag from coming away any further?
I tend to hold it at the top and the weight has stretched the lining.
Cheers!

The first batch of the vacuum flasks will be limited to 25 pieces and will be £25 each.
Feel free to put your name down if you would like one, but I won't be taking any money until I have the flasks here with me. -

Unfortunately I'm not back making bags, though I would dearly love to be.

I work in it every day.
So it also gets washed a lot. :)
Bloody dodgy cordura suppliers causing Black Rainbow Project to become Brown Rainbow Project. :(
