I've had a pair of 35c marathon supremes on since November, and they're perishing and cracking really badly on the centre, harder-compound, part of the tread. The bike is stored out of direct sunlight, so maybe they were just a dodgy batch, but I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Saying that: I've probably done about 4000 miles on them, and they're not showing much wear, and they do give a good ride. They were impressively grippy when they were new, but that's faded as the rubber has started to perish.
Anyone got a recommendation for touring tyres? Feel like I've been trusting Pasela for so long, yet things must have improved with other tyres right? Thinking 32s, suppleish not too rock-hard. I've had Conti Top Contact Touring recommended.
